10/24/19: On Thursday, Press Lacky Grisham was forced to back Trump up again. Was the president right to call his critics “human scum,” reporters wondered? Yes, she said. Yes, he was. “The people who are against him and have been against him and working against him since the day he took office are just that.”
It was that kind of week.
An American president had called other Americans “human scum.” His lackeys had backed him up.*
THE USE of dehumanizing terms is almost always dangerous. See,
