9/29/21: Has
there ever been a president who had so many former aides, advisers, generals,
and cabinet members come out and say that he was
a) a threat to the U.S.
Constitution
b) a racist
c) a “fucking moron”
d) an incompetent fool.
Trump, of course, is/was that
president.

Up to bat today, former
spokeswoman for First Lady Melania Trump and former White House Press Secretary
Stephanie Grisham. With a new book due out next week, she is ready to dish dirt
on Loser Donald. For instance, she writes that she had to protect a young White
House aide after then-President Trump kept inviting her to his cabin on Air
Force One so he could “look at her.” According to Grisham, her old boss, also
commented on what a nice ass the aide had.
The Emperor of Mar-a-Lago was
having none of it, as The Hill reports:
The former president said in a statement to The Hill Tuesday that
Grisham “didn’t have what it takes and that was obvious from the beginning.”
He also said she “became very
angry and bitter after her break up,” presumably referring to her reported
previous relationship with former Trump aide Max Miller, adding that “as time
went on she was seldom relied upon, or even thought about.”
Loser Donald’s take is
interesting, if for no other reason than that he says Grisham’s lack of
abilities was “obvious from the beginning.” She was his press aide during his
2016 campaign, then deputy press secretary to Sean Spicer, at the dawn of the
Trump administration. In March 2017, she went to work for the First Lady. At
that point the president said his wife would be “in good hands.” In July 2019,
she was promoted to White House press secretary, at a salary of $183,000.
Here, I will take the lazy man’s
route and rely on work done previously by Wikipedia, which highlights lowlights
of Grisham’s White House career:
On October 24, 2019, while again
appearing on Fox & Friends, Grisham defended Trump’s
description of “Never Trump Republicans” as “Human scum.”[39] When asked if Trump should apologize,
Grisham said “No, no, he shouldn’t. The people who are against him and who have
been against him and working against his [agenda] since the day they took
office are just that. It is horrible that people are working against a
president who is delivering results for this country and has been since day
one. And, the fact that people continue to try to negate anything he’s been
trying to do and take away from the good work he’s doing on behalf of the
American people, they deserve strong language like that.”[40]
On October 26, 2019, in response
to criticism of President Trump by his former chief of staff Gen. John F. Kelly (Ret.) Grisham stated: “I worked with
John Kelly, and he was totally unequipped to handle the genius of our
President.”[41]
On November 13, 2019, during the
testimony of [Charge d’affaires to Ukraine] William B. Taylor Jr., Grisham
commented that the impeachment inquiry
against Donald Trump was a “sham hearing” that is “not only
boring, it is a colossal waste of taxpayer time & money.”[42][43]
That same month, Grisham claimed
that Obama administration officials had left “you will fail” notes for the
incoming Trump administration officials. Numerous Obama administration
officials rejected the claim. Grisham ultimately retracted her assertion.[44]
In April 2020, Grisham went back to work for the First Lady.
She did not leave that position until Jan. 6, when she quit in protest on the
evening following the Capitol Hill riots.
In any case, Trump took another shot at Grisham, and this
time included the free press, as a target. “Too bad that sleaze bag publishers continue to report this
very boring garbage. We and the MAGA movement are totally used to it. And
someday in the not too distant future [emphasis added, unless otherwise
noted] we will have our voice back and be treated fairly by the press.”
The “not too distant future?” Has
Trump been talking to the MyPillow guy again? (See: 9/23/21.)
Or could it be that other
maniac, Rep. Paul Gosar, who has suggested that we hold a do-over Biden vs. Trump election at once?
