12/22/19: If you still need proof that the Great Wall of Trump isn’t the answer to stopping crime in America, you had it again this week. A trial has now been scheduled for Nicole Franklin, a Des Moines, Iowa woman, who is charged with two counts of attempted murder.
Earlier this month, Franklin decided to make America great again by running over a 14-year-old girl because she believed the teen was “a Mexican.”
In a separate incident the same day, she drove over a curb and ran over a 12-year-old African American youth.
Franklin, who promptly fled the scene, was apprehended by local police at a nearby gas station an hour later, where she had assaulted a convenience store clerk, hurling store items and shouting racist remarks at the employee and customers.
She told the police that she intentionally ran over Miranda because she was “a Mexican,” and intended to injure or kill the teen. She expressed anti-immigrant sentiments throughout the interrogation, repeatedly using derogatory terms against Latinos.
Franklin is, if you haven’t already guessed, white. Franklin is also a racist and a moron. The good news is that she is now a racist and a moron in jail. Bond has been set at $1 million.

BLOGGER’S NOTE (8/20/21): In April 2021, Franklin pleads guilty to two charges of attempted murder, related to hate crimes. In August a judge sentences her to 304 months in prison on each count. The sentences will run concurrently.
