7/10/21: President Biden wants to send health officials door-to-door to encourage more Americans to get vaccinated and stop the spread of the coronavirus. The governor of South Carolina wants no part of this effort to protect more of his constituents from a dangerous disease.
He warns that “enticing, coercing, intimidating, mandating, or pressuring” people to get shots will kill public trust in the state’s own vaccination efforts.
Of course, he could go on TV and explain that both the state and federal governments were working together to get more South Carolinians vaccinated. But that would make Biden’s efforts look normal.
Which
they are.
Nah, Gov. Henry McMaster would rather play politics with people’s lives.
In June, South Carolina health officials warned that 90% of all deaths from COVID in the state were among the unvaccinated.
BLOGGER’S NOTE: As of February 3, 2022, 1,106,209 people in the
state had been infected and 13,527 people the governor was elected
to serve no longer needed his services.
Because they were dead.
According to South Carolina records, roughly three out of
every four deaths in McMasters’ state since that time have been unvaccinated
individuals.
“Thankfully” no one from the federal government ever came to
their doors to intimidate them into getting the shots.
