11/10/20: Well, at least one Trump
underling, Sec. of State Mike Pompeo, remains confident that despite the rather
glaring fact that voting tallies have gone against the sitting president, his
boss is going to prevail. Asked by reporters if he was helping the incoming
Biden administration get up to speed in terms of national security issues, he
offered up a stupid grin.
“There will be a smooth transition,” he predicted, “to a second Trump
administration. All right? We’re ready.”
