1/20/19: Trump kicks off year three of his presidency, showing how much he’s grown in the job….
Of for the love of god. No. Not one bit. It’s cold across much of the country because it’s winter. The Science-Moron-in-Chief starts his third year tweeting just as stupidly as in years one and two. Once again, the poor dunce proves he can’t distinguish the difference between climate and weather.
It’s sad, because if Trump spent 1/10th the time reading NASA reports he spends on inane tweets, he could teach a course on global warming. At 4:59 a.m., he fires off this classic tweet:
Be careful and try staying in
your house. Large parts of the Country are suffering from tremendous amounts of
snow and near record cold. Amazing how big this system is. Wouldn’t be to have
a little of that good old fashioned Global Warming right now!
(Sound
of scientists round the world smacking foreheads.)
BLOGGER’S NOTE (2/6/19): The National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration reports that 2018 is the fourth hottest year in the
137 years records have been kept. The top three are: 2016, 2015 and 2017.
In one year, the U.S. suffers 14
billion-dollar-plus climate disasters, including several (possibly all) made
worse by climate change.
