9/28/18: Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi journalist, who writes for the Washington Post and a permanent resident in the United States, walks into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. He is there to pick up documents needed so he can marry his fiancée.
Saudi officials tell him to return on October 2. The paperwork he requires will be completed and ready at that time.
(So will
be a team of assassin, armed with a bone saw. See: 10/15/18.)
Mr. Khashoggi - when government silence the press, freedom dies. |
