1/2/22: Sgt. Aquilino Gonell, an officer with the Capitol Hill Police, is fed up with hearing about how the January 6 riot wasn’t “so bad.” He called it “a disgrace” that former Vice President Pence had downplayed the violence.

posted on Twitter: “This happened
to me giving [Pence] and others time to escape to safely [sic] so he wouldn’t
get hanged/executed. To some, my efforts and injuries are just an exaggeration.
THEY did this to me. This why it matters to me and should matters [sic] to you.
