February 27, 2022: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and White Supremacists Bond

2/27/22: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is in the news again – which means she’s in the news for stupidity and racism again. 

On Friday, she gave a keynote speech at a conference organized by white supremacist Nicholas J. Fuentes. 

Greene should probably "google" Hitler, too.

Fuentes, 23, is a piece of far-rightwing work. As the New York Post reports, “he has been labeled as a white supremacist by the Anti-Defamation League,” and “has long been banned from attending CPAC. In the past he has denied the Holocaust, defended segregation, and urged his followers to kill state legislators.” 

“[They say] Vladimir Putin is Hitler and they say that’s not a good thing,” Fuentes joked, during the same event Greene attended Friday night. “I shouldn’t have said that,” he added, with a laugh.

 

Yes. Humorous. Watching Ukraine get invaded and watching Ukrainians and Russian soldiers get killed. 

Giving Hitler a plug! 

Genius!

 

In a video statement posted today, Greene claimed she had not been aware of Fuentes’ views and said did not support white nationalism. Also: she was too stupid to know how to “google” the name, “Nicholas J. Fuentes.” Then again, she does believe Jews are starting forest fires with space lasers. And bankrolling a global pedophile ring. 

For starters, you can easily find the story where Fuentes suggests Trump supporters have no choice left but to kill lawmakers. 

Or: Fuentes, as a teen, explaining how the First Amendment doesn’t cover Muslims or immigrants. 

Or: Fuentes’ ideas on race:

 

Fuentes and his America First adherents vocally support the closure of the U.S. borders to immigrants, while opposing “liberal” values such as feminism and LGBTQ+ rights. Fuentes views these societal changes as the “bastardized Jewish subversion of the American creed. The Founders never intended for America to be a refugee camp for nonwhite people.”  

 

Fuentes believes in the Great Replacement Theory, which he refers to as the “Great Replacement REALITY.” In this view, white people are replaced in Europe and in the USA by dark-skinned immigrants, and the white race faces extinction. “If you are a White male zoomer,” he warned recently, “remember that the people in power hate you and your unborn children and they will try to genocide you in your lifetime.” 

So: “Sieg heil,” and out, you pathetic right-wingers.

 

POSTSCRIPT: Sen. Mitt Romney was asked this morning to comment on the appearances of Greene, and another GOP lawmaker, Rep. Paul Gosar, at the Fuentes shindig. Quoting a line from an old movie, he replied, “I’ve got morons on my team.”
