Meanwhile, Ford Motors bows to reality. Climate change is not a hoax. The company announces plans to build four new factories in Kentucky and Tennessee. The focus will be on the development of electric vehicles, including battery technology. These will be the first four completely new plants Ford has built in the last half century. Billions of dollars will go into the projects, and the main facility in Tennessee will create an estimated 6,000 jobs. Even better, President Biden did not brag about how he created all those jobs on hearing the news.

FUN FACT: Loser Donald really wants to ensure that Rep. Liz Cheney is ousted when she runs for reelection to Congress next year. That means he’s backing Harriet Hageman in the Republican primary to come.
This tickles the blogger, because in 2016, Hageman rightly warned that if the GOP turned to Trump the party would be saddled with “somebody who is racist and xenophobic.”
True, that.
Hageman explains her anti-Trump stand in 2016 this way, although she seems to end up admitting she was a dupe. As The New York Times explains, she now says,
I
heard and believed the lies the Democrats and Liz Cheney’s friends in the media
were telling at the time, but that is ancient history as I quickly realized
that their allegations against President Trump were untrue. He was the greatest
president of my lifetime, and I am proud to have been able to renominate him in
2020. And I’m proud to strongly support him today.
