December 23, 2021: Who Knew? Congress actually Passes Bi-Partisan Legislation!

12/23/21: Yay!!! Congress passes bipartisan legislation – although, to be honest, it’s kind of a “gimee.”

The federal government will set aside $100 million annually for research into neurodegenerative diseases like ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. “When we act together, we get things done. And this is totally — totally, totally a bipartisan effort,” President Biden said.

Republican Congressman Paul Gosar, who voted against the bill, warned that Biden would use the funding to create gay and transgender robot soldiers.

(Okay, that’s a joke; but in today’s GOP, it wouldn’t be a stretch.)

T. J. SMTH, police chief of Oakboro Town, N.C., has been placed on unpaid leave, after telling his officers about a “clinic” that would give them vaccination cards to show they had shots…without actually giving them shots.

Dr. Mandy Cohen, head of the Department of Health and Human Services, said earlier this week that North Carolina could see as many as 10,000 Covid-19 cases a day at the peak in January.
