June 23, 2022: Donald J. Trump Remains a Menace to the Country

 Dear Readers, 

I continue to restructure this blog in hopes of making it more readable, which means older posts show up at the head of the feed. My plan is to break up the tale of Donald J. Trump into mostly single-day segments, so material is easier to digest.

So long as Trump is a threat to run again for president, I consider it my duty to remind others how dangerous he was, and how much more dangerous he would be, given a second term.

So long as Trump is a threat, I will feel compelled to keep at work on this blog. And it’s not just me giving warning. 

His own Secretary of Defense, Gen. James Mattis, came to see him as “a threat to the Constitution.”

More recently, his second Secretary of Defense, Mark Esper, assured a reporter that his old boss was “a threat to democracy.” 

And during this month’s congressional hearings regarding the attack on Capitol Hill, Judge J. Michael Luttig warned that Trump, his allies, and his supporters “are a clear and present danger to American democracy.”
